Drank in Oak Series tasting with Post Scriptum brewery Pedro Sousa presenting.
A: The final beer from Oak Series. Just like the other ones, the body is dark copper with a white head that has a mild retention and some lacing. The crispiness of the body is what makes me give it such a high mark.
S: Due to the use of whisky barrels on the making of this beer, the layers of malt build up an aromatic profile like nothing I've ever put my nose on.
T: Again, the multi-layered malts make the trick. Everything connects in the end, just around the maltiness of beer and whisky. Although this is a irish whisky barrel, you can almost feel the peatiness of the north west Scotland.
M: Another magic point to PS, perfect.
O: Cognac is clearly the best beer out of the 4 but this one is actually second best. This series should be known worldwide because it is indeed an achievement for beer. Congratulations Pedro!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
