I tried this beer off the tapper at the Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and subtle bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Red-amber with a medium khaki head and curtains of lace.
In smell, I get mostly red grape.
Taste is nutty caramel, and I can't shake that grape. Interesting.
Sweet, medium to thin body, but soft and frothy.

On the 4th of July 2023, I finally decided to try another full draft pour so many years after that first release at Mustard Seed.
Appearance is largely the same, though a little more copper. And the overall experience is more solid than that first pass was, showcasing a lightly malty, nutty leafiness with a tangy, slight hint of plum.
Definitely more satisfying than my original 3.11 score.
