The beer was served from tap at their brewery and poured a lovely yellow with a nice fluffy head. Good lacing throughout the tasting.
As expected by style, the nose and aroma had clove and banana. I felt these flavors were too subtle. I like hefes for a summer refresher and subtle is not wanted. YMMV. The body also has a bit of malt and wheat flavors.
The carbonation was excellent as was the mouthfeel, which was soft and light.
A bit nonplussed by this one from a brewery that I love. Too subtle.

Got a single can of this to try recently. Poured out of the 12 oz can into one of my weizen glasses,t his beer pours a pretty cloudy, hazy, medium golden color with lots of stream of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface. Has a white head that's well over an inch thick when first poured that settles eventually to a good, thick surface coating along with a thick ring lining the inside of the glass and excellent lacing. Aromas of wheat, some bready malts, banana and clove notes. A very similar flavor profile with the aforementioned bready malts, banana and clove that are all very nicely balanced with just a hint of hops. Has a crisp, also smooth and frothy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. A very nice, solid representation of this style.

Creamy blonde with a persistent thin fluffy head of spotty foam.
This beer is pretty classic, not straying too far from the baseline.
Light banana and wheat notes are the prevailing characteristics. Yeast spice is very light, only really in the background.
