Clear, barely yellow, almost green, with a thin white film on top.
Smelling this one, right away it becomes clear that the yellow cake reference is no joke here. An abundance of pineapple and coconut perfume the nose as well. I don't know how he maintains these aromas but they are really fresh and prominent.
Taste is tangy citrus, sharp and almost acidic. I think this is the pineapple adding the big kick of acidity here, giving a bit of a boozy effect sort of like a cocktail. Coconut is just massive as well but would be nice if it provided some of the rounding, softening properties I've had it exhibit in other coconut beers. All the while the taste of cake batter is ever present. So crazy.
With all this going on, feel is surprisingly thin and fizzy, but still has some softness to it.
