Although going to a dryness like a traditional Brut, we gave it a little Belgian character, hazed it and loaded it with Citra, Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe and Mosaic. Akron zookeeper and homebrewer Nick and I collaborated on this. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Akron Zoo Chapter for Pints Against Poaching.

Uniformly glowing semi-hazy yellow-orange with a soft, persistent white bubbly blanket.
This actually delivers a seedy passion fruit character which is paired with a delicate Belgian phenol that works well with a nice hoppy dankness and a hint of cracker.
A mild, soft carbonation runs through the medium body before a bone dry finish--this is the first Brut IPA I've had that really delivers on that front.
Brut Ranger is easily one of the better takes on this new style that I'm still not quite sure I'm fully behind yet. If they can keep dialing the flavor profile in I think they could have a style standout here.
