I got a pint of this beer off the tapper at J. Liu's restaurant in downtown Dublin, Ohio. It poured a brownish amber with off white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had light caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with light caramel malt base and subtle nut highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

This was really well done, but there was just something on the feel that wasn't my favorite, perhaps a smidge more carbonation than it needs. But overall very tasty and very recognizable as an English Brown

12 ounce can into IPA glass, canned on 3/16/2020. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep copper amber/light reddish color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread/crust, toast, biscuit, roasted nuts; light dark fruit, cocoa, wood, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, woody, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lingering bitter dryness with no hop astringency. Very flavorful for 4.75%, minimal warming alcohol. Great clean and rich malt complexity, with balancing earthy hops, and restrained fruity yeast. Spot on American style. No complaints.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid brown pours a
medium dark brown with a moderate head of off white
foam that settles to a thick ring, thin subtle layer, and
sports some faint lacing. Nose of nutty roasted malts,
faint breaded malts, and dark roasted elements with
hints of chocolate and coffee. Flavors follow but surpass
the nose by presentation with dark roasted malts, faint
coffee, faint cocoa, and roasted nutty malts with a
touch of herbal hops on the finish. Nice mouth feel;
medium body, medium light carbonation, and a
moderately dry finish.

Overall---excellent brown ale!

Cheers!

Kind of a weak and herbal nut brown ale not too much cocoa flavor just a lot of brown malts and a touch of almond sweetness. A bit tannic and aggressive finish is mildly smooth. Overall not a bad Brown ale but definitely one of the fizzy ones I ever drank

Poured out of a 12 oz can into one of my mugs, this beer pours a clear, light to medium brown color with lots of streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface. Has a slightly off-white/tan head that's about half an inch thick when first poured that settles quickly to a film layer of surface foam and a thick ring surrounding the inside of the glass. Aromas of some toasted and roasted, bready malts and a nice nuttiness along with a bit of herbal, earthy hops. The flavor profile is quite similar, with a nice toasted, bready malt sweetness that's followed by a nice roasted nuttiness that's rounded out with an herbal, earthy hop bitterness. Has a fairly crisp, just slightly prickly, also smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly malty and nutty aftertaste. Not a bad beer at all, but I do feel this could be a bit better.

Canned on 2/4/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a dark brown with brownish red hues; creamy light khaki head that fades leaving great retention and sticky lacing. Great color. The aromas have some vanilla and coconut leading the way. Some caramel. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More vanilla and coconut. More caramel. Some maple. Some cocoa in the mix. Some wood and oak. Low to no bitterness. Solid sweetness, but nothing crazy. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's spritzy, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice Nut Brown Ale. It's not flashy, but it's not supposed to be. It's a classic and traditional example of the style. I like it.

Clear shimmering tiger eye brown with a persistent creamy tan blanket.

This is a little sweet of toffee but also bitter with a toasty nutty bite and a hint coffee. Some herbal hops and Corn Pops also develop over a hint of licorice.

The crisp tingly then airy soft carbonation lifts the medium-light body before a semi-dry finish.
