Pint can dated 6/3/20 poured into a DFH tulip. Dark blackish brown body topped by a medium sized tan head with lots of lacing. Smell is mostly hazelnuts and malt with maybe a bit of chocolate. Taste is much more chocolate forward without losing any of the hazelnut vanilla tinges. Alcohol well hidden. Mouthfeel is full without being overly chewy. Just a nice locally brewed imperial desert stout that I'm glad my beer contact at the local grocery store recommended.

My 3500th beer!

Picked up a single for under five bucks into a pint glass deep dark blackness of soul with no head literally no head I can't believe. Smells of hazelnut coffee sweetness so much chocolate my God. Taste sweet hazelnuts chocolate and coffee roaster. Body is sweet and balance light to medium somewhat easy to crush. Overall this beer is a rush of senses not sure if I would drink it again but it was well worth a try

16 ounce can, canned on 06/03/20. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma a lot, the brew smells like hazelnuts, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some roasted malt, caramel and cream flavors noticeable too. Sweet tasting but not overpoweringly so. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a little slick with a good amount of carbonation. If you're into sweeter tasting imperial stouts then I definitely recommend this one! I liked it a lot, but then I like chocolate and hazelnuts too. $17.99 a 4-pack.

Canned on 5/13/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; creamy khaki head that leaves great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have hazelnut and vanilla/marshmallow leading the way. Some peanut butter. Some cocoa. Lots of malts. The flavors follow the nose, but are even bolder. More hazelnut and vanilla leading the way. Milk chocolate coming through. It's on the sweeter side, but it's not cloying or anything like that. Low to zero bitterness. Strong malt backbone. Mild warmth in the finish, but the alcohol is ultimately well hidden. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to low carbonation. It's very light and fluffy, smooth, slightly creamy and velvety. This one is ultimately dangerously drinkable.

This is a great Imperial Stout. If you like hazelnut beers then this should be right up your alley. Very nice aromas and flavors. This makes for a nice "dessert beer". It's highly enjoyable and fun to drink.
