Look: Black, can’t see through it at all. Minimal head which you would expect from a 14% beer.
Smell: Cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, caramel, toffee, Hazelnut liqueur, I know sweet isn’t a smell, but I can’t imagine anything smelling like this and not being sweet.
Taste: Surprise! It is indeed quite sweet. I get only sweet, no bitterness at all. Possibly because I usually drink IPA’s
Flavor: The flavor precisely matches the aroma; cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, caramel, toffee, Hazelnut liqueur. It is a nice balance. If you are a fan of pastry stouts this is damn good!
Feel: Very full mouthfeel but surprisingly not boozy. This could be dangerous if you don’t know in advance that the alcohol content is 14%. I was surprised when I read it. Carbonation is noticeable but soft.
Overall: Overall I think this beer is delightful. I will drink it again. It comes in a 16 oz can so one is probably good for most people. Nice blend of cocoa and spice. It’s delicious. If you have access to it try it! Drink it slow and enjoy each sip. If you don’t have access to it, I’d be happy to trade with you. If you are a fan of pastry stout this will hit the spot.

This is a "Caramel Macchiato Triple Oatmeal Imperial Stout". Canned on 7/22/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; creamy khaki head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are kind of subtle but open up as it warms. Hints of caramel and vanilla along with some cocoa and chocolate. Lots of malts. The flavors are bold but very balanced. More caramel, vanilla and chocolate. Some raisins and dark fruit. Mild hints of cinnamon in the mix. It's slightly sweet, but definitely not cloying or anything over the top. Low to no bitterness. Nice malt backbone. Alcohol is truly well hidden, especially when considering the ABV. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, slightly sharp, slightly creamy and very smooth. This beer is the epitome of being dangerously drinkable.
This is a pretty nice Imperial Stout. I've been trying alot of stouts from R. Shea lately and have basically loved them all. I might not love this one, but I still really like it. It's really hard to believe that this beer is 14% ABV, it drinks much smaller. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. No complaints.
