From the 16oz can in a snifter. This nice red pours a nice
burnished red with a decent head of white foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some nice light lacing.
Nose of toasted malts and subtle herbal notes amongst the
light grain touches. Flavors exceed the lack luster nose
with toasted malts, bread crust, light caramel malts, and
nice herbal hop notes. Nice mouth feel; medium light body,
medium light carbonation, crisp, smooth, and finishing
lightly dry with grain notes.
Overall, a decent brew....perfect for lawn mower season which
is upon us once again.
Cheers

Canned on 1/20/21. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours an amber with nice clarity; small off-white head that fades quickly leaving okay retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of caramel and crackers. There's honestly not much going on in the aroma department, even for the style. The flavors are very crisp and clean. Lots of toast. More caramel along with some toffee. Solid bitterness coming from the their local hydroponic hops. Malts do their thing. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a great Irish Red Ale. It's extremely clean, crisp and refreshing. The "Akron-Grown Hydroponic Hops" really takes this one to the next level along with the craftsmanship. The aromas might be slightly lackluster, but they open up as it warms a bit. The hops make it slightly unique for the style, but it still ultimately stays true to the style. Well done. I really like it.
