Fruited Double New England IPA with Key Lime and aged on Madagascar Vanilla Beans
"Deep within our cavernous subterranean brewing facility, state-of-the-art particle accelerators are doing unthinkable experiments to fruit, hops and sugars. We are creating something that has never naturally occurred on this planet...until now...and it's delicious."

16 ounce can, date is smudged so not exactly sure when the canning date was. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch or so off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like key limes, vanilla and bready malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also the addition of some citrus peel and honeydew melon flavors. Key lime flavor comes out more as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I liked this brew, would want to try this one again at some point!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This most excellent brew pours a hazed orange tinged
yellow with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer,
and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of lime, melon, vanilla, and light breaded malts
with sweet honey malts. Flavors excel above the nose with a fine presentation of
lime, vanilla, light cream, faint melon, light breaded malts and light cracker notes.
Nice mouth feel; medium body, smooth, lightly creamy, light carbonation with a
touch of prickly carbonation, and a nice medium dry sweet yet tart finish.
Overall---Unique, balanced, and excellent!
Cheers
