This beer holds up really well still considering its summer of 2022 now. Maybe a little thin cuz its still super chilled but advertised flavors are there

Canned on 10/27/21. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; small light khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing.
The aromas have lots of peppermint along with some chocolate. Subtle hints of vanilla. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose. It tastes like a "Thin Mint". More peppermint and chocolate leading the way. Some vanilla cream. Moderate sweetness. Low bitterness. Strong malt backbone. Alcohol is ultimately well hidden.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slick, smooth and slightly fluffy.
This is a nice brew. They executed everything that you'd expect from a "Candy Cane Oreo Pie Pastry Milk Stout", more or less. The peppermint is the star without dominating or being offputting. It's perfect for the holiday season. I liked last the 2020 version and this year's is good too. Well done.
