This Coconut Macaroon Milk Stout is the perfect dessert to end your evening. It will bring you back to those family gatherings in which a family member always made coconut macaroon cookies, only difference is that this one comes in at 8%.

I shouldn't have, but I set my expectations for this based on the amazing Twitchy from the same brewer. That's a very high bar.
This one poured a bit flat (too cold, maybe). Some constant bubbles do appear. The aroma is roasty coconut malts - not bad. The taste is sweeter and very coconuty. It finishes clean and not syrupy.
Recommended. I like this brewer, but this stout is not at the level of their best products.

Canned on 3/9/22. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; light khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing.
The aromas have a nice amount of caramel leading the way. Some cinnamon and spice. Malts are there.
The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More coconut. More cinnamon and spice. Some vanilla. Hints of cocoa. Solid sweetness. Low bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's sharp and slightly creamy.
This is a solid milk stout. The coconut comes through. There are some spices that give this one somewhat of an odd finish for me personally, but it's still ultimately enjoyable stuff.

Dark brown pour with a light caramel layer of creamy foam resting on top. Aroma is light chocolate cocoa malt, macaroon, lactose, and coconut. On thge first sip it's no surprise the taste follows the nose. Macaroon and coconut dominate the flavor followed with creamy milk lactose underneath and some chocolate cocoa. Big silky texture with no carbonation and .a well hidden 8% ABV. A decent middle of the road Stout.
