A glossy black body barely builds a short tan blanket that dissipates quickly.
Caramelly prune and dark raisin fill the slick medium-light body, though it does have a little more heft than the maple bourbon barrel aged stout I had before it.
Port is there in spades, and in unique ways, offering touches of amaretto and nougat but without any sticky sweetness in execution. It has a really nice dryness with a slowly emerging warmth.
