22 OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a murky, deep amber hue and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Caramel, oak, and vanilla aromas.
I get caramel, light citrus, and oak flavors. A little sweetness. Booze is pretty well hidden.
Full bodied with an almost syrupy mouthfeel
Solid barleywine. Not sure what barrels were used in the aging. I was just happy to see a barleywine. Such a delicious style of beer, especially in the winter.
