22 OZ. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with less than an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
Peach brandy is front and center. Dark chocolate and coffee notes open up as it warms.
Peach brandy forward. Once it warms up, I get dark chocolate and roasted malt. Hints of anise.
Medium bodied with a smooth, oily mouthfeel
Interesting beer. I enjoyed that peach brandy barrel aging. That's a first for me. I have had apple brandy barrel aged stouts. It was bottled due to the breweries impending closure. Otherwise, I may not have gotten to try this treat. Nice beer. Not sure what the intended barrel time was, but I am happy with this result.
