Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and a winter's night. It is topped with a timid cola colored head with no staying power.
It has a wonderful chocolate and hazelnut aroma with complimentary vanilla. Even some caramel aromas.
Chocolate and hazelnut flavor upfront. Vanilla and caramel. Hints of oak. Coffee in the finish/aftertaste.
Full bodied with a velvety smooth texture.
This is a damn tasty beer. I am glad I got to purchase it but sad at the reason why I got the opportunity, as in the brewery closing. I enjoyed many of their beers.

After their closing, this is the last thing I expected to see at DLD 2024!
The unflavored original already exhibited plenty of vanillin, caramel and mocha, so this one doesn't take too much effort to get into a cone full of hazelnut ice cream.
While still tasty, it's not quite as delicious as the unadulterated variant, though it's still awesome to see here.
