Smell and taste - slight smoke with roasted malts
Feel - light body and carb

I visited the brewpub after dining nearby and tried 3 ounce samples of several of their beers. This porter was a little sweet and not really very smokey. I also tried the Brettish Invasion IPA and didn't like it much. Apparently, I don't like Brett in my beer, which I've confirmed with other beers elsewhere.

Although I love the flavor of this beer, the feel keeps me from loving it. The beer smells amazing, you can really smell the smoke and cherrywood added into the beer. The taste is great but something indescribable keeps me from enjoying this to its fullest. Still a great beer to have!
