Copenhagen 27/9 2019. 50 cl on tap at Kompasset Ølbar, Østerbrogade, Kbh Ø.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is medium intense and dominated by a strong, sharp odor. Grains and paint thinner. Underlying sweet maltiness. Lightly roasted. Bitter dark chocolate.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a notable sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Robust Latvia Porter which bringe a Baltic Porter to mind when I consider the ABV.

L: Jet black color, one finger brown head, nice lacing, light carbonation.
S: Coffee, chocolate.
T: Chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Very good.
F: Medium bodied, very drinkable.
O: Very good Latvian porter. The best I have tried from the country so far.
