Rerate, 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown kandij sugar. The flavour has the same elements, but also spicy and fruity notes. Moderate hops. Some warmth from the alcohol. Quite nice beer. Best at fairly cool drinking temperature. I’m upping it a couple points.
Original rating: Sample from bottle at DSJT, Cardinal. ABV is 8.5%. Winter seasonal. Dusty and malty aroma. Brown kandij sugar, malts and mild spices in the flavour. Okay, but not much more. Will rerate when I have a bigger sample.
