July 2003: (500 ml can). Golden colour, good thick head. Sweet candy aroma. Flavour is sweet and alcoholic, but not as cloying and disgusting as some other Swedish lagers of this strength. Slightly lighter and fresher than the most horrific specimens of this style. At least I was able to finish this one. No reason to keep a festival for it, though.

Pours a clear yelllow with some fine foam, and large visible bubbles.
Smell is sweet with plenty of corn and some butter.
Taste is pretty sweet, with corn, hints of bread and a slight bitterness. Some booze on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit under carbonated.
Overall, not a good beer, but not as bad as some extra strong lagers I've had. And it's dirt cheap...

A: Pour is straw-colored. The head is rahter compact and medium-sized white. Dissipates into decent lacings.
S: Lots of corn, otherwise sweet faint malt. Some white bread. Faint bitter hops.
T: Faint taste. Sweet malt overpowered by corn. White bread. An unbalanced off-kind-of-taste.
M: Aftertaste lingers a bit longer than I thought it would, and holds bitterness. Body is thin and carbontion is mild.
D: This isn't a product you should buy if your plan is to enjoy a well-crafted product. If your goal is to get drunk on beer at a low prize, this could be your choice.

Pours a light clear amber with a smal white head. Light in body, yet big in flavor. Malt and hop balance are nice and crisp with neither taking attention away from the other. Mild alcohol notes do come through, but are not unpleasent. A very decent strong lager which is easy to drink.
