The colour is straw yellow; the white foam forms a compact finger thick head.
The smell is loaded with lots of malt with some burned notes (I didnt expect that) and a good measure of yeast. There are some notes of alcohol, bitter hops and dark rye bread. It is a bit chemical, though.
The taste It is very clean: Some fresh malt here, some anonymous bitter hops there. The aftertaste is kind of short with some bitterness and some mild herb-like hoppyness. One can say clean and neutral, or unexciting depending on ones mode.
The carbonation is fresh with small bubbles, neither stale nor sharp.
It is not bad in any way, but It seems a bit uninspired. Oh, lets make another pale lager at 5%. One like the others.. If I was offered one for free, I would accept it, but I wouldnt pay for another bottle.
