The color is dark amber, almost brown, a small tan head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing.
The smell is malt - nuts and sweet cereals.
A malty, almost molasses, sweetness, some orange and old hay.
Medium carbonation, medium sized bubbles, very small body, almost a soda like feeling.
Sorry this beer did not really speak to me.

The colour is deep brown red; the thick creamy pale brown head is two fingers high. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing.
The smell is malty and a bit roasted with light notes of sour dough, butter, coffee and a hint of bitter hops.
The taste is mild and balanced with some buttery roasted flavours, a bitter-metallic flavour and some salty broth. The body is medium to weak. The aftertaste is dominated by roasted malt and a light buttery flavour. There is some mild anonymous bitterness in the finish.
The carbonation is medium strong, the bubbles medium sized. The liquid is somewhat smooth.
A mild and relaxed Dunkel that would probably have suited the salt/sour/sweet/smoked dishes of the Swedish Christmas. There is not much of body, but at 3.5%, I didnt expect more either.
