Look: Jet black pour from a pint can bought from total wine and more. Not much of a head on this one/ not much lacing as I expected.
Smell: Getting notes of coffee, chocolate, slight resemblance of Guinness. It has a metallic smell to it that reminds me of irish stouts in general.
Taste: This tastes way different then expected. Definitely getting the sweeter side of the chocolate in this one and I'm loving every bit of it. You get the chocolate, espresso mix with hints of molasses. It's amazing actually! You can't taste the alcohol at all in this!
Feel: Heavy bodied. The sweetness hides this very well! I'm almost shocked it's considered a 10% beer. It very much hides as a 5% such as Samuel Smith's organic chocolate stout. Nice!
Overall: I was torn between trying KBS Hazelnut and this but I took a leap of faith in hoping for a sweet beer for the night and this hit the spot. Thank you Dionysus Brewing for creating this beauty! I'm hoping that more people can try this and it becomes more and more known.

Purchased in a single pint can with no date info seen. This was actually brewed and canned by Lengthwise Brewing Co, which is just down the street in the same neighborhood in Bakersfield.
Loads of chocolate and raspberry on the nose, it pours very dark, the foam recedes quickly but lacing is nice. Tastes of roasted coffee, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon. Feel is silky, the alcohol is fairly hidden. I quite liked it and would get again.

16oz can dated 2/1/21 from the Craft Beer Quick Stop. A little to sweet for my taste but well executed.
