Appearance - Pours a dark cola brown with two fingers of frothy tan head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, weedy, and floral hops, oats, roasted malts, hint of coffee bean, cocoa, hint of molasses, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, weedy, and floral hops upfront. The roasted malts, oats, hint of coffee bean, cocoa, and hint of molasses come through next. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the roasted notes and cocoa lingering.
Overall - A nicely rendered oatmeal stout that delivers on the style front. This brew is quite sessionable. A nice treat for this cool-ish Cowtown evening.

Sweater Weather Oatmeal Stout from Winterlong Brewing in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. 5.5% alc.
Beige head and the beer is a dark brown. Not much aroma but the taste is dark malt, some chocolate, and a flavour somewhat like dark Christmas cake.
The beer is medium to full bodied and the finish is somewhat dry.
All said I quite like this offering.
