Appearance - Pours a straw gold with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - earthy, and floral saaz hops, biscuity malts, lemon, hint of orange peel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earth and floral saaz hops upfront. The biscuity malts, lemon, and hint of orange peel come through next. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and sticky.
Overall - A nice refreshing, crisp, and hop-forward german pilsner from Winterlong. After the first offering I sampled from them, this one certainly redeems themselves. This is easily a crushable brew with a bit of hop kick to it. Well done Winterlong!
