"Roasty, Earthy, Citrus"
Appearance - Pours a hazelnut brown with three fingers of frothy mocha tan head.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, roasted malts, cocoa, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The roasted malts, cocoa, and an interesting character shows up to the plate; citrus peel follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with a pleasant roastiness.
Overall - A different take on this style. The citrus element is throwing me off but is interesting to find in this style.
