Served on tap at the pub. Color is an oily black with swirls of mocha head. Lots of roast coffee ground aroma, some char on the nose with a smoother-than-expected coffee flavor with just the bit of a bitterish finish. Cocoa flavors peek through. Some bready/biscuit malt rounds it out.

This is a very approachable coffee stout. Tons of coffee on the nose, not bitter at all, just a nice roasting as.
Drinks easy, it's only 6% so it would be nice for those who don't like the huge stouts but love the coffee flavors.
