Dry-Hopped with Ekuanot, Citra, Amarillo, and El Dorado, this N.E. style IPA has a sublime mouthfeel with aromas of orange, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. It finishes with a resonant bitterness and harmonic sweetness.

On tap at the Dark Horse Brewery in Marshall MI.
While described as a N. E. IPA, this has a clear body. It does have a fruity flavor with hints of oranges and grapefruit dominant in a tropical mix.

Here comes a very fresh New England IPA from Michigan.
It pours less cloudy than most of this style with nice little bubbles. The aroma is slightly skunky, even as I drink this very cold. The taste is a nice hops funk with malts showing through, and it finishes with a mild bite.
Recommended, but it is not all that distinguishable from the myriad of other New England IPAs. Just yet another good one.

Having had some very good ipas of late, this one falls short of my recent experiences (the beer I had immediately before this was King Sue and perhaps one of the best ipas I have ever ingested) ... That said, it's pretty solid and certainly slightly above average ... Always happy to try a Brewer unknown to me....

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that left some lace. The scent had fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel spice presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

16 oz can from superspak. Can dated 7/12/18. Ploughshare wide mouthed glass.
Pours a nice juicy bright mustard yellow with a creamy head of 1 finger.
Aromas are tropical fruit, vanilla, bavarian cream, runts candy (candy hops), orange, lots of vanilla pudding, slight wood.
Flavors are decidedly citrus (tangerine, then orange) with an earthy undercurrent. It's very pleasant. Where the El Dorado brought candy to the aroma, the citra and amarillo take over in the flavor. Slight earthiness is probably from the ekuanot, as well as the lingering tropical papaya and melon flavors. Bitterness is minimal, but has a sharp snap.
Feel is crisp and resinous, with a nice acidity to the profile and medium creaminess, medium body.
Overall a pretty good NE IPA. I could go for a little more melon and tropical fruit, but this is still pretty solid. Recommended.
