Brief impressions:
BOTTLE: Brown glass. 33cl. Unbranded silver coloured pry-off crown cap. Simple orange-ish label.
4.70% ABV.
Gushes upon opening.
HEAD: Off-white. Fills most of the glass. Standard characteristics.
BODY: Murky copper. Dull and unattractive.
The obvious overcarbonation and gushing is indicative of infection.
AROMA: Funky bacteria immediately makes me suspect infection. Generic barley and off-note of DMS sour green apple are the only other things I notice.
Suggests an infected mess of a beer. Aromatic intensity is mild. Horribly unappealing.
TASTE: Loaded with nothing but off-flavours. Green apple. DMS. Funky bacterial notes. Aside from that, I find only wheat.
In short, it's an infected mess - just as the aroma promised.
TEXTURE: Murky, smooth, wet, unrefreshing, overcarbonated...nothing about this redeems the beer.
OVERALL: Another infected mess from Alahovin - which is quickly replacing Nokian Panimo as the worst brewery in Finland by my estimation. Difficult to drink given its low quality, but I suppose it's a fair bit better than Alahovin's Pale Ale and IPA. I'd caution others from buying this. Drinks like subpar homebrew.
