Had a chance to enjoy this beer during a recent trip to SLO. It was bottled under the "Apple Farm" label, but is clearly a Central Coast brewery product. I added this as a separate beer to avoid confusion, as I was a little disappointed when I realized this was a Central Coast product, and not from the Apple Farm Inn.
A nice lemony appearance meshes nicely with the citrus taste with more than a hint of lemon, wheat, and a sweet aftertaste. It is indeed a basic flavor, and, to my mind, quite a pleasant one. The mouthfeel is hefeweizen-esque, with a decent amount of carbonation but without an overly large head.
Quaffable.
