Thanks Phil! Pours a dark brownish-red color with a medium-large tan head that hangs around for a little. Scent is somewhat smokey with a lot of pine and some dark fruits. A bit of brown sugar and some alcohol. Taste was initially VERY awful to me...Then I gave it a little time. Slowly, sip after sip...it grew on me. Still not a great beer. Overly salty...the wrong kinda smoke. It did have some nice dark fruit flavors, but it was kinda a mess IMO. Mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. Drinkability is not very high. Overall, I'm fortunate to have had a beer with such a small bottle count, but I was not impressed at all.

Shared this 750ml bottle with a friend (peacebone116) his wife and my wife at Central Coast Brewing. Served from the bottle into tulip glasses.
A – Dark raisin color with a dark mahogany head that had some decent retention.
S – Lost of dark fruit in the nose, there is sweet malt also blend around the dark fruits.
T – Very similar to the nose, dark fruits like raisin and prune. There is some spices also, but had to pin point which ones. The malt is of a dark sweet flavor and just adds to the complexity.
M – Decent, a little thinner than I was expecting but still decent.
O – I was a decent beer, nothing spectacular.

This is a delightful beer. Color is hassle brown with a hint of red almost clay as I can best describe it.
The head of the beer traps aroma and gives little as far as flavor.
The taste is sweet, crisp and mild hops give a full body to each swig.
Hops fade leaving first woody then sweet flavor.
Overall a great beer to enjoy in the late-afternoon or early evening outdoors when weather is mild. Always enjoyable in comfortable surroundings.
