Paradise Pale

a really really simple pale ale here, seems like no more than pale two row barley maybe the slightest pinch of wheat, a generic ale yeast, and an american hop varietal or two, nothing out of the ordinary at all, and pretty good, but it tastes a bit plain to me, like it could stand a little more hops in it and a little something to jazz up the grain base, something to make it more distinct. its a real mellow beer, just a little hazy golden and headier and more bubbly than pretty much all the beers they have in here. the hops are familiar to me, a little grassy and a little citrusy, but really tame, subtle orange to it, moderate bitterness is all, really mild finish and on the drier side. this is working mans beer, every day kind of stuff that you drink pint after pint of, its offensive to nobody, likeable by all, but a little safer than i like my pale ale to be. i think this is a house favorite, and its well enough made, but i left this place far less excited about the pale than i was about some of their other flavors. good, but youve had this beer before a million times even if you havent...
