750 ml bottle, 2021 edition, couldn't find the bottling date on this one. Served in a Bruery tulip, the beer pours a very dark brown/black color with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like raspberries, vanilla, and some dark chocolate. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some bourbon, raspberry candy, tart berry, tootsie roll and caramel flavors. Good amount of tartness. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good, tart fruity sour, definitely worth picking up if you're able to!

Bottled 7/12/21; Poured into a RS snifter
Disclaimer: I am not a sour stout guy at all, but the fact that this was aged in barrels of the well-received Vanilla Villain (and this is as close to VV as I’ve been able to get), I had to take the leap.
The nose is slight raspberry, a hint of vanilla, and a whole lotta funk. I kinda want more raspberry wafting from the glass. The taste is an exquisite blend of both titular adjuncts, neither overdone. This is EXCELLENT.
The feel is on point; not too thin, nor chewy. Interestingly, this finishes dry for me.
Now I’m bummed I only bought one. Great beer.
