Split with rudzud
Light fizzy head fades quickly, no lacing, hazy golden orange color

Nose tart lactic acid, cereal cracker grain, weird stale aroma, light citrus, a bit of tart grape skin, grapefruit and lemony, vinous white wine, mild sweet blond malt

Taste quite tart, bright acidity, lactic maybe acetic, citrus fruit, lemony with a little rind and flash of grapefruit, big white wine vinous but mostly grape skin, a little sweet fruit paste, minerality, medium acidity with little flemmy finish, little old aged character thing

Mouth is med bod, fizzy carb, fair acidity

Overall it's ok, just didn't do it for me

Split with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice crystal clear golden hue a thin head that fades to leave nothing.

S - Aromas of soft blonde notes, nice vinous notes, loads of minerality and grape musk. Flashes of honey.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of slightly sweet and tart grapes. Just a ton of minerality on the finish. Flashes of honey.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, rather flemmy.

O - Overall this was a decent enough sour blonde worth lovely mineral grape notes. Liked the French oak one MUCH more.

L - Pours a slightly opaque golden straw body with a fizzy half finger eggshell head.

S - Funk and barnyard on the nose with tart white grapes.

T - Slightly funky with juicy white grapes. It's not overly tart by any means, more mildly tart. Reminds me more farmhouse than a tart/sour beer.

F - Light bodied and medium to high carbonation. Dry finish.

O - This is a solid beer that I enjoyed drinking. Loved the take on a wine hybrid.

On tap at the Bruery Terreux tasting room on 03/23/17. A wine inspired golden sour ale with Viognier grapes. Only moderately tart. A good introduction to sour beers.
