This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a solid hazy yellow pale color with a finger's worth of white foamy head. It mildly slid off to leave a sly stringy lace.
The aroma had some crushed pineapple sweet juiciness with some vanilla and lactose. Light lemon and a slick little bit of orange juice ever so slightly on the back end.
The flavor yields towards the sweetness of the entire blend. Super huge sweet pineapple in the aftertaste but with a tart sort of fruity fresh pulp.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a sly sipping quality about it. Low carbonation felt good. ABV felt fine. Juicy pineapple finish with a touch of lemon.
Overall, not your normal sour ale but one of those fruited sours that is more tart than sour. I appreciate this beer and would welcome it again.
