Sugarcots are a rare variety of Apricot which we added to our sour blonde ale, yielding a beer that's super acid-forward and totally fruity. To this, we added a single barrel of Bergamot blonde, which we think gives an incredible, aromatic boost to the blend. The beers seem to concur.

A: Poured into a tulip glass to a light orange topped by a dense and slightly rocky finger of white head which faDes slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of loads of sweet sugarcots and some nice orange notes with some hints of oak
T: Taste is lots of sugarcots with some orange. Really nice sourness that builds to help balance out the fruit with a little bit of oak. On the swallow there's a nice orange note, more sugarcots, a nice creamy wheat note, some oak, and a little more tartness
M: This beer is on the lighter side of medium in body. Carbonation is effervescent but not prickly while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer. There's a lot to love from the huge fruit notes, the sourness, and the notes from the base beer make this a real pleasure to drink with a surprising amount of complexity. Definitely one I'd like to see come around on an annual basis.
