A: Poured into a duvel tulip to a hazy yellow beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky finger of white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of apple juice with some hints of funk along with a touch of sweet malt. Slight tinge of sourness along with a little oak
T: Taste is lightly tart with a definite apple note. Slight maltyness along with some light bits of oak along with just a touch of funk. hints of chalky yeast at times too. On the swallow there's more tart apples, some more sweetness, a little more oak, a hint of white pepper and some lingering tartness
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is effervescent and slightly prickly while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer. It has some good flavors and a nice amount of complexity. It comes across a little light in flavor at times, but it makes up for that at other points.

Brought this out to the 48 hour, 100 team softball tournament the last week of July 2020. Don't let the fear mongers win. Get out and exercise.

Poured around 8am on Saturday morning. Pours the dark gold color, not much clarity to it, could be lots of apple giving the lightly murked out appearance. Didn't make much in the way of head, that thin 1/6" white head barely there. Aroma was damn near apple cider. The apple is big time prominent and dominant. Has that Hallmark channel bullshit fall apple harvest lame banter dialogue going for it.

Taste brings along a light hit of barley, hay and wild yeast to sour it up and give it a bigger impression as beer/wild ale than the nose did. And that is cool, bring the apple on especially when it isn't an amped up sour/acidity style one, this had a light deft touch. Carbonated nicely, this was a pretty good morning kind of beer. Would totally think this is a good summer tailgate option. I think it was just a one and done creation though, don't think its been available to purchase but that one time. Crank it up again Bruery, I think it was a simple yet effective winner.

Golden straw color with a slight haze. thin white head. Slightly funky nose with a hint of apple. Taste starts sharp and tart and levels off into a pleasant apple sweetness.

750ml bottle into tulip, 2019 dated, cellared at the Bruery until recently.

L: Nearly opaque straw yellow in a glass 750ml. A bit of cloudiness when poured. No real head to speak of.

S: Apples, apple skin( ?), bit of wet straw maybe? Fall harvest notes.

T: Nice tartness, apples come through but aren't overpowering, no astringency but fairly dry. Finish is medium.

F: Dry-ish, light body, but not super effervescent like some ciders.

O: Very good, I'd drink a lot of this if I didn't have only the one 750ml. Cider/beer hybrid, best of both worlds. Super refreshing on a warm spring day.

16oz Can

Appearance: Slightly cloudy straw-yellow color with a medium sized white head that subsided to a thin white cap.

Smell: Modest barnyard funk and grassy hay notes. The funk dominates here.

Taste: Tart apple notes, grassy/hay notes, and barnyard funk notes come through in the taste profile. The beer finishes dry with straw like notes coming through on the tail end with a bit of sour apple notes also.

Mouth-feel: Light bodied with a modest level of carbonation. Everything's good here.

Overall: A good American Wild Ale. The apple presence is a bit less prominent than some of the other Bruery/Bruery Terreux beers I've had recently but everything complements each other well to produce a nice beer.
