A: Poured into a delerium glass to a bright purple liquid with no head and no lacing due to the still packaging
S: To me this smells like concord grape juice with some warm french oak notes
T: Taste is surprisingly tart on entry followed by some nice jammy notes and red berries along with some leather and french oak with some woodspice. On the finish there's more sourness, jammy fruits, a red berries, and some more french oak and woodspice
M: This beer has a body which has a moderate amount of heft and a slightly silky feel. There is no carbonation and the beer has a drying finish
O: Overall this is really nice. The acid was quite punchy up front, but after that first sip it all balanced out. The nose really tricked me since I wasn't smelling any sharp acidic notes.

750ml corked bottle poured into an oversized wine glass

A- pours a deep purple color with a ruby hue when compared to light, appears to pour still, with no head

S- initial aroma smells just like a malbec; jammy aromas of black currant, plumb, cherry and raspberry. Equal amounts of oak counter the jammy aromas. Undertones of oak, peppery leather and black licorice

T- flavor follows aroma with bold jammy notes; black currant, dark cherry, raspberry and blackberry. Mid-palate brings out a tartness that is complimented by a sharp oaky note. The finish is slightly peppery, with more jammy berries into the finish, that lingers long after

M- medium body with zero combination gives a silky mouthfeel that continues into the finish, abv hidden well

O- drinks just like a malbec, with just a hint of lambic popping through, very good
