A: Poured into a snifter to a deep red beer which is topped b a dense and slightly rocky finger and a half of cream colored head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of blueberries and sourness with some hints of cinnamon and vanilla
T: Taste is tart blueberries and cinnamon up front with some orange. Good sourness throughout while the finish is cinnamon, vanilla, blueberries and a touch of oak.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is adequate and slightly effervescent while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a pretty well executed beer. Really nice flavors and complexity that make this a fun beer to drink. Acidity is also balanced well which also adds to some of the drinkability on this one. I wouldn't mind seeing this one come back.

Had this late night after the Eclipse party, December 2021. This is the first review of this beer on BA.

Pours a dark reddish color. Its about the color of the label. 3/5" off white head, dense small bubbles. Appearance possibly best attribute. Aroma is also nice, you get everything talked up on the label, berries, vanilla, cinnamon, orange. But it does smell very sour. We shall see.

The taste is decent, but holy moly is it sour and acidic. Sure there is taste perception of the orange, blueberry, cinnamon and vanilla. But the sheer booziness of a massive abv for a wild ale, the acidity and sourness all combine to be the top 3 sensations going on here. Crazy to imagine how brutal this could be without the vanilla to try and temper it all down, but much like a single antacid during a crazy harsh sour bottle share, it isn't enough.

I would give a session version of this beer another chance. There is just too much of those 3 things aforementioned to want to go back.
