In celebration of 7 years brewing wildly complex beers at The Bruery Terreux, this year’s Annuel ale follows suit in our tradition of blending and solera aging methods. This artful, rich, and complex blend of our solera Anniversary ale, Belgian-style quad, sour blonde, sour stout, Flemish-style red, and wheat wine-style ale was aged in oak and bourbon barrels. Enjoy tart notes of caramel, vanilla, and berry, and cheers to 7 years!

750mL bottle (2022) into a tulip. Pours a murky mahogany with a thin beige head that settles quickly.
Aroma is sour and woody with notes of apple cider vinegar and fermenting cherries. Classic wild ale funk.
Taste follows nose—good balance of sweet and tart—bready malt and oak barrel. Not overpowering and quite enjoyable.
Mouthfeel is clean and crisp with a dry finish.
Overall this is a straightforward, right-down-the-middle, expertly blended sour ale.
