Amazing beer. The best dark lager I have ever had and I was a loyal Penn Dark drinker for years.
Waitress described it as mildly sweet with nutty tones and the body of a stout (13.8 plato?). Its exactly that. The nutty flavors took me off guard. Sweetness is very subdued and mellow...doesn't come through at the nose. Body is thick and head doesnt go away. Opaque color. Gorgeous glass of beer. Extremely drinkable and entertaining to drink...not something that can often be said for lagers.
