Pours a golden and light amber color, solid 1/2" white head. Aroma popped with a nice blend of Chinook and Mosaic hops, brought some dankness as well as a fruityness reminiscient of fruit stripe gum yeast.
Taste, keeps bringing it. The Chinook provides the old school pine bitterness, and it melds well with the aggressive proprietary hopped Mosaic. The body of the beer is toasted pale malt, possibly golden promise and a very dry finish typical of the west coast ipa style and hardly, if any, caramel sticky feels. There is a more complex hop flavor profile, stays away from simple grapefruit and instead seems to drop some tropical fruit on top of a pine forest.
Not a bad first hoppy beer I've had from this brewery.
