Had this at Strange Brew 2018. Came into this beer thinking it might be like that Pizza Beer of ill repute everyone talks about, but I found to be decent and not even in the worst 100 beers I've ever had, not even close. This beer wasn't that good.
Pours a dark gold with some obvious tomato/red influence on it. 1/5" white head. Aroma was kinda like tomatoes. Kind of. Nothing for hops.
Taste was why people aren't always kettle sour fans. I mean, sometimes it works really good (Anderson Valley gose). Sometimes, I dunno, it just comes out a little unpleasant. There was a humid thick aspect to the beer that wasn't from malt or anything. The sourness was very understated. Didn't taste any alcohol, but they didn't tell you any stats on the beer so who knows.
I dunno, it didn't really display many if any pizza qualities beyond some mild tomato notes. Wasn't much to speak of in terms of malt or hops.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
