Took the boy to get some pizza, its getting a bit pricey for what it is, but hey, wings, pizza, beer. You dig it the most.
Sometimes you find, I don't want to use the word "hero", but bArF, you and every other reviewer are a hero. Not just adding beer to this Next Glass owned database, but also giving it the most professional of all reviews.
Pours the familiar golden yellow color you've come to know in a pale ale. 1/3" white head. Very mild hopping, Centennial for the most part. Citra was miniscule.
The taste revealed this is a underhopped compared to the average kind of pale ale. Make me a beer that doesn't interfere with the pizza. Ok, now I get it. Its a session level hop rate, and so more of a lighter, older school kind of pale ale without the excessive crystal malt or ibu war attempts of making love to a vampire on my knee. Its a fine beer, its just a pretty pedestrian mild, easy to drink, low bitterness without having to resort to wheat or oat hazy ipa like tricks.
