A delightful porter made with real toasted coconut. Mr. Coconuthead delivers a tropical taste to a smooth perfectly balanced porter!

16oz draft pour into a pint glass shows a colored body with 1/4in tan mixed bubble head that reminds me of a cola.
Aroma is muted until after the head drops to an edge hugging ring. After that the coconut is prominent and enticing.
Flavor is coconut and hints at chocolate. I recommend drinking while cold. As it warms I get a metallic flavor that is distracting.
Mouthfeel is a lighter leaning medium.
Overall they nailed the flavor.

L: poured on tap almost black with light beige foam that settles into a ring around the surface.

S: aroma is water with artificial coconut flavoring.

T: tastes like an ok porter with coconut oil. At first there was an artificial metallic flavor. After a few sips I didn’t detect it anymore and was enjoying a coconut flavored porter. Barley is prominent. Unfortunately there isn’t much complexity, just the two notes of watery porter and coconut. Slight sweetness, but would probably taste better with more sweetness and one other complimentary flavor. Quite dry. Faint notes of hazelnut and dark cherry.

O: overall it is good. Reminiscent of a Busted Knuckle.

Excellent beer. Picked up a 22oz bomber in South Bend. Big fan of porters and stouts so decided to give it a try. Pours pretty flat...not too much head. Lacing disappears pretty fast. For a porter this one has a light mouthfeel...if it was any thinner I'd be disappointed. Great beer from this brewery..easy drinking porter..would recommend to anyone

Phemominal beer. Rich coconut taste, rich roasted malty taste. Dark Brown to light black in color with little tan head. Goes down quite smooth. If anyone else knows more about this brewery or beer please let me know
