Very floral and citrus. Plenty of hop flavor too. Decent imperial IPA.

From a growler, from Sam The Beer Man.
Pours a very slightly hazy amber, with slight off-white head, with a light ring of lacing.
Aroma is of pine , boozy malt, and slight citrus. (Not sure if this batch is strictly Citra. Not labeled as such.)
Flavor matches aroma. Well-balanced, classic DIPA flavor , with very fine carbonation, smooth , oily feel, and no apparent booziness, despite the 9+% abv.
Not my favorite by any means, but pretty good. : )

Sweet baby Jesus. This was unexpectedly good. On tap at the brewery. Served in a tulip. Golden orange and partially opaque with floating sediments. This carries a thin, bubbly head that quickly dissipates while leaving faint lacing down the glass. The citra hops here are belligerently in your face, and I love it. Citrus fruits slap your face around, and there's enough of malt bill to even out the hefty hops; medium-bodied with a bitter finish. Excellent.

A disappointing IPA in that it didn't strike me as "Imperial", but was still rather drinkable. Nice golden appearance with a citrus and floral nose. It was hoppy, and almost balanced with the malt, but I think the balance fell a little short. There was a fruit flavor on the back end that eluded me (grape maybe?). Probably my second favorite of the flight.

On tap at Grist Iron brewpub. Amber; thin head. West-coast citrus scent. Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy, but balanced by thick, rich malt. Strong, but more like a DIPA than an IIMPA. Still very good, but perhaps misnamed.
