Brewed with an abundance of maize in a nod to our area’s rich grist mill history and as much local raw honey that we could squeeze in, this ale is light and crisp with low bitterness and a dry finish

8/30...pours light gold with white foam ring. Creamy nose. Rich corn flavored taste, hints of straw and hay. Creamy mouthfeel. Smooth. Works really well, nice leadoff hit.

This was my favorite of the flight, which for me was weird - saying that a cream ale was my favorite. A very light straw-colored appearance without much of a perceptible nose. The taste had that nice creamy mouthfeel that was to be expected, a grainy malt flavor with a touch of corn, and there was a sweetness at the back end that made me think of pears or apples (turned out to be honey).
A very pleasing beer that I certainly wouldn't mind having around on a hot day.

On tap at the brewpub. Light straw color. Very light and refreshing—nice summer brew. The finish is rather hoppy considering the low IBU of 17, but that is more a function of the relative lightness of the beer itself. Quite pleasant on a summer day.
