Brewed with non-typical IPA malts and hard to obtain hops which have exceptional flavors.
It’s a darker amber instead of the usual pale golden color, medium body and a big hops presence including citrus and tropical fruit flavors and aromas.

Dark amber color, mild smell and a mild but good taste for a double IPA. Has the right amount of hops and carbonation.

Poured 16oz into a standard snifter. Dark is amber with 2.5 finger light tan and a lasting cap. Thick webbed lacing on my class. Smell is subdued, mild caramel malt and some pine citrus hops.Taste is fairly malty, mostly caramel malts with biting hops that are grapefruit rind and somewhat piney. Mouthfeel is medium, not too cloying or overly bitter, good carbonation and nice smooth finish. Overall this is standard for IIPA and reminds me a bit of OB G'Knight.

Excited to try the flagship beer from the first brewery in Fort Atkinson and one of only two within 30 miles of where I work.
Had on tap at WOB Wauwatosa (no tap room at the brewery unfortunately). Look is a deep amber with a finger of head that disapated fairly quickly. Pretty good lacing. Aroma is faint, caramel and vegatative. Taste is caramel, raw hops, and bitter orange rind. Moderate bitterness, and it's a bit rough all around. Feel is decent but not on par with other beers in its abv range.
Disappointing overall and hopefully they continue to work on the recipe / process to dial it in, would love to see them succeed and open a tap room. Very new brewery, I'll have to revisit this down the road to see how they're progressing.

On-tap last week at The Milwaukee Burger Company, Franklin, WI - reviewed from notes:
Pours hazed dark amber with a thin bubbly head. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of caramel and perfume.
The taste is of plenty of steely caramel. Perfume and some aspirin in the finish.
It is rather thin for a DIPA, but holds together. Bitterness lingers.
A bit tough to get through. A bit raw.
