Raudonų Plytų Alaus Dirbtuvės (Brick By Brick Beer Workshop)

This is located not far from the river that bisects the city of Klaipeda. Outdoor seating was available but there is plenty of room inside as well. The setting is pleasant as it across the street from a park that was showing the Olympics on a large screen.

The waiter, like most in Lithuania, was pleasant but not overly friendly. Nor was he efficient--there were plenty of times where we waited for service. I can't stress enough that this is the norm in this country. Although tipping is optional, there was an interesting placard on the table that allowed you give something extra to the server. (I didn't see this at any other establishment.) There is no option to tip if you are paying by credit card, otherwise.

The beers are quite good, but I was surprised at the limited selection. Given the size, I would expect at least a dozen offerings. Perhaps there were more inside, but the online menu only had 5 beers. Interestingly, this brewery also makes the UAB Švyturys beers. So, there were about 3 more available.

My wife and I ordered appetizers which were good. Basically, it's typical bar food with a Lithuanian flare.

This is the place to go when in Klaipeda and it does well to serve interesting micro-styled beers.
