Opaque, shiny black. It smells heavenly, like some decadent dessert. Baked Alaska, tiramisu. It great.
Sadly it's just a porter, not the 10% viscous stout I wanted from the nose. It's a touch thin; very smooth, almost silky. Chocolate, vanilla, and watery beer-malt. No but actually, it's good. Yum!
